Jennifer Pierre

Jennifer Pierre is a researcher specializing in user experience and human-computer interaction. She currently works at Google as a User Experience Researcher, focusing on gaming and gaming communities. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Information Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Her doctoral dissertation explored how adolescents use social media to gain social support. Jennifer’s research interests include social media, data research, social informatics, and computer-mediated communication, aiming to leverage technology to create positive social experiences for others.
