Laura South

Laura South is a researcher dedicated to the fields of accessibility technology and human-computer interaction. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Williams College. She completed her Ph.D. at Northeastern University in 2024, focusing on data science, the societal impact of artificial intelligence, and the development of accessibility technologies. Her research particularly emphasizes improving the computer usage experience for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy and exploring innovative technologies such as 3D-printed Braille and visualizing astronomical data. In teaching, she offers courses on human-computer interaction and programming fundamentals.
