Ehud Sharlin

Ehud Sharlin is a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary, renowned for his research in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human-Robot Interaction (HRI). His research focuses include interaction with autonomous vehicles, drone interaction, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR). He earned his PhD from the University of Alberta and holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. His research is dedicated to exploring novel Tangible User Interfaces (TUI) and interaction design, aiming to provide more natural user experiences for complex technological systems. Sharlin has published numerous academic papers and has received multiple awards at international conferences and journals.
