Dave Randall

Dave Randall is a Senior Professor in the Business Information Systems and New Media team at the University of Siegen in Germany, as well as a Visiting Professor at Linnaeus University in Sweden. His research focuses primarily on the fields of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), with a particular emphasis on applying ethnographic methods in design. Despite being officially retired, he remains actively involved in research, collaborating with team members on papers and providing support. He has published extensively on CSCW, social informatics, and ethnography-based system design, with his work having significant impact both in academia and practice.
