Zoya Bylinskii

Zoya Bylinskii is a research scientist specializing in human visual cognition and computer-aided design. She is currently the Head of Scientific Evaluation for the Adobe Firefly team, focusing on the quality assessment and fairness of generative visual and video models. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2018, with research spanning human visual attention modeling, graphic design, and memorability analysis in data visualization. Her work has received numerous industry and academic awards, including the 2023 Adobe Founders' Award, the 2016 Adobe Research Fellowship, and other academic honors. Her research is characterized by its interdisciplinary nature, combining computer vision, cognitive science, and human-computer interaction technologies, and is applied in photography, graphic design, and generative AI.
