Haitao Zheng

Haitao "Heather" Zheng is currently the Neubauer Professor of Computer Science at the University of Chicago and co-leads the SAND Lab (Security, Algorithms, Networking, and Data Laboratory). Her research spans wireless networks, mobile computing, security and privacy in deep learning systems, as well as copyright protection technologies for generative AI. Professor Zheng has received numerous prestigious awards, including IEEE Fellow and ACM Fellow honors, as well as MIT Technology Review's TR35 Innovator recognition. Her research has made a profound impact not only in academia but also in technology practice and has received significant media attention.
