Elena L. Glassman

Elena L. Glassman is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and the Stanley A. Marks and William H. Marks Assistant Professor at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. Her research focuses on the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), particularly on enhancing human intelligence through computational technologies. Her work involves designing, building, and evaluating systems to understand and interact with structured trends in large-scale code and data. She holds a Ph.D., an MEng, and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research has received Best Paper Awards and Honorable Mentions at premier academic conferences and has been supported by organizations such as NSF and the Sloan Research Fellowship.
