Lewis Chuang

Lewis L. Chuang is a scientist specializing in human-computer interaction research, with a rich background in education and research. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of York (UK), followed by a master's degree in psychology at the University of Manchester. Subsequently, he worked as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, Germany, and earned a doctorate in neuroscience at the University of Tübingen in 2011. His doctoral research focused on "Object Recognition from Dynamic Visual Experience." Throughout his academic career, he served as an academic advisor in the Department of Informatics at LMU Munich and conducted research at the Leibniz Research Centre in Dortmund. Since April 2022, he has been a professor of "Humans and Technology" at Chemnitz University of Technology, leading research projects on human-computer interaction and augmented reality.
