Waki Kamino

Waki Kamino is a Ph.D. candidate at Cornell University focusing on research in human-computer interaction and social robot design. She is dedicated to exploring the application of technology in complex social environments and the evolving nature of future work models. Currently, she is a research assistant at Indiana University Bloomington, working with the human-computer interaction lab. Waki has participated in numerous research projects addressing how robot design can improve human well-being and has published several academic papers. Her research spans social robot designs for interactions with older adults and applications of robots in confined environments.
