Martin Raubal

Martin Raubal is a full professor in Geographic Information Engineering at ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich). His research focuses on geographic information science, spatial cognition and path navigation, spatiotemporal analysis, mobile eye tracking, and the application of geographic information systems in renewable energy development. He is internationally recognized, having published numerous high-impact academic papers and played significant roles at various international conferences. His academic background spans surveying engineering, geographic information technology, and spatial information science, with degrees from esteemed institutions including Vienna University of Technology and the University of Maine. He currently leads several research projects, advancing the application of geographic information technology in future resilient systems.
