Sean Peacock

Sean Peacock is a PhD student in Urban Planning at Newcastle University, affiliated with the Open Lab research group. His research focuses on how digital technologies can support children and young people in participating in urban planning and designing future cities to improve their living environments. Sean has extensive practical experience in urban planning, having worked as an urban planner in UK local government. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD while also working as a user researcher for the UK Government and serving as an Associate Researcher at A Place in Childhood. His work aims to amplify the voices of young people in urban transformations through innovative tools and methods to tackle urban challenges such as air pollution and climate change.
