Diana Franklin

Diana Franklin is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Chicago, leading the CANON research lab. Her research focuses on computer science education, particularly designing curricula for K-8 grades and introducing beginners to quantum computing. She is committed to creating equitable learning environments and providing more opportunities for underrepresented groups. She is an NSF CAREER awardee and co-leads the Q-12 Education Partnership, aiming to advance K-12 quantum information science education. She has developed innovative educational resources, including Scratch Encore and the Quander game.
