Christo Wilson

Christo Wilson is a Professor and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. His research focuses on algorithm auditing and cybersecurity, aiming to reveal the societal impacts of complex algorithms through rigorous experimentation. Professor Wilson's work explores key issues such as search engine personalization, price discrimination in e-commerce, biases in the gig economy, and the spread of online misinformation. Beyond the technical aspects, he actively collaborates with regulatory agencies to enhance the transparency of algorithmic systems, safeguard consumer rights, and promote a fair and secure online environment. Additionally, he has made significant contributions to the fields of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and TLS security.
