Tobias M Weinberg

Tobias Weinberg is an engineer and researcher from Argentina, currently a Ph.D. candidate and Siegel PiTech Fellow at Cornell Tech. He is dedicated to accessibility technology and AI-driven interaction design, aiming to develop efficient assistive communication tools for individuals with speech disabilities. After losing his ability to speak at age 15 due to a neurological condition, Tobias gained profound insight into assistive technologies and uses his personal experience to drive innovation in the field. A graduate of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, he is a passionate engineer who delivered the class graduation speech. His research focuses on improving the user experience of speech-generating devices through artificial intelligence, helping more people achieve a better quality of life.
