Smart Bus Stop Made with Interactive Surfaces

This is a video prototype of Smart Bus Stop which consists of interactive surfaces. The authors have envisioned a bus stop which shows necessary information for bus passengers on its wall and floor surfaces. Rapid prototypes were used to visualize functions of its navigation floor and personal walls. A functional prototype using image recognition and projection has been tested at a lab environment to specify technical details. Then a scenario skit was tested in an arrangement with a real bus. The authors assume that this concept will be applied not only for buses but also for many types of mobility solutions (e.g. ride-hailing app pickup zone, autonomous vehicle pickup zone).
