Ji Youn Shin

Dr. Ji Youn Shin is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota College of Design. Her research focuses on human-computer interaction, social computing, and design technology, particularly in applications related to digital health and home care. She holds a Ph.D. in Information and Media from Michigan State University, specializing in improving the efficiency of home care through technology to support long-term chronic disease management. Additionally, she explores the potential of design technologies in strengthening parent-child relationships and managing family sleep routines.
