Seok-Hyung Bae

Seok-Hyung Bae is an associate professor in the Department of Industrial Design at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the director of the DRB-KAIST SketchTheFuture Research Center. His research areas include human-computer interaction, computer-aided design, and computer graphics, with a focus on developing innovative interaction technologies and systems for professional designers and design students. His work integrates traditional design practices with cutting-edge technologies to create new paradigms in design processes and education, based on a deep understanding of existing workflows and skills. By leveraging interaction design, input/output devices, and computer graphics, Professor Bae has contributed significantly to the field. Additionally, he has conducted research and development at several prestigious international universities and companies and has published numerous high-quality academic papers.
