Jason Alexander

Professor Jason Alexander is a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath. His research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), specializing in the development of innovative interactive systems that blend physical and digital interfaces. Recently, his work has concentrated on the design and application of shape-changing interfaces, particularly in the area of data physicalization. Additionally, he has extensive research experience in areas such as haptic feedback, eye-tracking interaction, and gesture interaction. He previously served as a Senior Lecturer at Lancaster University and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Bristol. Professor Jason Alexander is actively recruiting PhD students and postdoctoral researchers interested in interactive interfaces, haptic technologies, and data physicalization.
