Xu Wang

Xu Wang is an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, as well as the School of Information (with honors), focusing on research in intelligent educational technology. Her research integrates human-computer interaction, learning sciences, and artificial intelligence to develop computational methods and systems that support large-scale teaching and learning. Her work aims to provide innovative learning experiences to users through data-driven authoring techniques and AI-enhanced instructional design. Xu Wang earned her Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University, and her contributions to educational technology have earned her the NSF CAREER award and multiple Best Paper Honorable Mentions at international conferences. Her research encompasses intelligent tutoring systems, AI-enhanced instructional design, and the application of human-computer collaboration technologies in education.
