Laura Trouille

Dr. Laura Trouille is the Vice President of Science Engagement at the Adler Planetarium and the leader of Zooniverse, the largest online citizen science platform in the world. Her research interests encompass astronomy, science education, and citizen science, leveraging innovative hybrid classification techniques (combining human and machine efforts) to process large datasets. From 2010 to 2015, she served as a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern University's CIERA (Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics) and continues to collaborate with CIERA as a visiting scholar.
