Andreea Danielescu

Andreea Danielescu is the Head of Future Technologies Research and Development at Accenture Labs. Her work focuses on exploring emerging technologies that merge the physical and digital worlds, including biotechnology, smart materials, energy harvesting and storage, and neuromorphic computing. Her research spans voice and gesture interaction, wearable technology, and the ethics of artificial intelligence and technology. Danielescu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in Arts, Media, and Engineering, from Arizona State University. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, holds more than 10 patents, and is a Senior Member of ACM. She previously worked as an engineer and researcher on conversational interfaces at Facebook and Intel, conducting research at the forefront of various technological domains.
