Zhuoran Lu

Zhuoran Lu is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Purdue University, advised by Professor Ming Yin. Her research lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), focusing on human-AI interaction and human-centered AI design. Her goal is to develop more effective solutions for human-AI collaborative scenarios by understanding the cognitive processes of human decision-makers interacting with AI and the role of social influences on human decision-making. She also has broad interests in applying machine learning, computational social science, crowdsourcing, and behavioral science. She has extensive research and practical experience in both academic and industrial settings and has received multiple academic awards and honors.
