Xinlei Zhang

Dr. Zhang Xinlei is a researcher specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human Augmentation, currently affiliated with the University of Tokyo. His research interests include immersive virtual reality, voice interaction, and natural interaction methods for smart devices. He has presented significant findings at various international academic conferences, covering topics such as underwater augmented reality, intuitive control for voice interaction devices, and gaze-based silent speech interaction techniques. Dr. Zhang completed his doctoral studies under the mentorship of Professor Jun Rekimoto, the inventor of multi-touch interfaces and marker-based augmented reality. His research focuses on enhancing human sensory and physical capabilities through technology, paving the way for new possibilities in future interaction techniques.
