Wanyu Liu

Wanyu (Abby) Liu is a postdoctoral researcher specialized in Human-Computer Interaction, currently working with the ISMM research group at IRCAM Centre Pompidou in France, supervised by Frédéric Bevilacqua. Her research interests span the application of information theory in human-computer interaction, eye tracking technology, enhanced user experiences, and innovative approaches to integrating human intelligence with machine capabilities. She completed her PhD at Télécom ParisTech under the supervision of Olivier Rioul, Michel Beaudouin-Lafon, and Yves Guiard, focusing on the problem of uncertainty in user-computer communication processes. Prior to that, she collaborated with Microsoft Research to study sleep tracking technologies in the context of social natural user interfaces.
