Takeshi Naemura

Professor Takeshi Naemura is a professor in the Department of Creative Informatics and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems at the University of Tokyo. His primary research areas include Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Human-Computer Interaction, and multimedia content technology. Leading the Naemura Lab, he focuses on developing creative and interactive technologies and systems that integrate physical and digital spaces. Through theoretical construction, system implementation, psychological experiments, and artistic expression, the lab has achieved outstanding results in optical design, signal processing, and interaction design.
