Aparajita S. Marathe

Aparajita Marathe is a researcher specializing in accessibility, currently a PhD candidate in the Informatics program at the University of California, Irvine, under the guidance of Dr. Anne Marie Piper. Her research focuses on understanding and implementing accessibility, inclusivity, and equity in human-technology interactions, with a particular emphasis on the experiences and challenges of visually impaired users in digital collaboration tools. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she worked as a user experience researcher, focusing on user needs analysis and design strategy optimization. Her work has been published in top-tier conferences and earned the CSCW Best Paper Award.
