Jeremy Cooperstock

Jeremy R. Cooperstock is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University and the director of the Shared Reality Lab. His research focuses primarily on human-computer interaction, telepresence, multimedia technology, as well as audio and haptic systems. He currently leads multiple interdisciplinary projects aimed at developing high-fidelity distributed interaction technologies, optimizing human interactions with virtual data, and overcoming sensor and bandwidth limitations. His work spans a wide range of applications, from classroom education technologies to systems aiding visually impaired individuals. Additionally, he is one of the principal investigators of McGill University's "ADvanced AIRspace Usability" project, which focuses on designing future flight control systems.
