Evan M. Peck

Evan M. Peck is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Science at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he serves as the Associate Chair for Undergraduate Research and leads the Information Visualization Lab. His research focuses on human-computer interaction and information visualization, exploring the opportunities and challenges of public data dissemination, with a particular emphasis on public trust and understanding of data. Additionally, he is a strong advocate for integrating social responsibility into computer science education, fostering students' ability to merge technical skills with ethical considerations through curriculum design and teaching activities. Previously, Peck was an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Bucknell University and earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tufts University.
