Nuno Nunes

Nuno Jardim Nunes is an academic specialized in Human-Computer Interaction, Sustainable Design, and Software Engineering. He is currently a full professor at Técnico – University of Lisbon and serves as the founder and chair of the Interactive Technologies Institute in Portugal. Professor Nunes has a profound research background in participatory culture and sustainable design, and he has dedicated his career to advancing human-centered design in social contexts. He also holds the role of Co-director of the Carnegie Mellon International Collaboration program and is an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Human-Computer Interaction Institute. His research interests include modeling for software and system design, currently focusing on sustainability, service design, and tool development.
