Laura Koesten

Laura Koesten is a researcher specializing in data visualization and data analysis. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) and is also an affiliated researcher at the University of Vienna. With a strong research background in open data and human-computer interaction, Laura completed her Ph.D. at the University of Southampton. Her work focuses on exploring effective ways to present data and improving the user experience of data consumers through technological solutions. She actively participates in academic conferences and maintains close ties to the academic community, particularly in ACM SIGCHI and human-computer interaction research.
