Shruthi Sai Chivukula

Dr. Sai Shruthi Chivukula is an Assistant Professor in the Master of Information Experience Design program at Pratt Institute’s School of Information and the head of the Translate research group. Her research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design (UX Design), Ethics and Values, and Critical Qualitative Research. She specializes in designing, developing, and disseminating ethics-centered methods to help technology and design practitioners enhance ethical awareness and reflective capacity. Her work addresses technology ethics issues such as "dark patterns" and fosters innovative support for socially responsible design through interdisciplinary collaboration.
