Jean Vanderdonckt

Jean Vanderdonckt is a full-time professor at Université catholique de Louvain. He has extensive research experience in multi-target user interface design, user interface description languages, and human-computer interaction. He is one of the key coordinators of the Usixml language, which supports multi-path development of user interfaces and has made significant contributions to intelligent user interface design. His research encompasses model-driven engineering, user interface adaptation and plasticity design, as well as graceful degradation designs for multi-platform systems. Jean Vanderdonckt has published a large number of influential academic papers, advancing the theory and practice of model-driven user interface design.
