Christian Corsten

Christian Corsten is a researcher in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) who received his Ph.D. from RWTH Aachen University in 2020. His research focuses on improving interaction experiences on handheld touchscreen devices through force touch technology, addressing key challenges such as one-handed operation, target selection, and interface spatial efficiency. He has developed several innovative interaction techniques, including BackXPress, ForceRay, and Force Picker, achieving notable results in mobile device interaction efficiency and user experience. His related academic papers have been published in top-tier conferences such as CHI and MobileHCI. Currently, he is working in the industry as a team lead and product manager at IVU Traffic Technologies.
