Janne Mascha Beuthel

Janne Mascha Beuthel is a researcher and PhD candidate specializing in Human-Computer Interaction design, currently working in the Department of Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Salzburg, Austria. Her research areas include design research, wearable technology, textile design, and fashion design, with additional focus on feminist theory and craftsmanship. Her work centers on exploring the safety of bodily experiences and fostering innovation in interaction design. She is also actively involved in autoethnography-based research, aiming to integrate individual perspectives into mainstream Human-Computer Interaction studies.
