Daniele Quercia

Daniele Quercia is a renowned expert in social computing and urban informatics. He currently serves as Vice President and Head of the Social Dynamics Department at Nokia Bell Labs. He was named one of the "2014 Data All-Stars" by Fortune magazine and delivered a TED Talk titled "Happy Maps." His research focuses on urban informatics, emphasizing Responsible AI and leveraging technology to promote human well-being. His work has received numerous awards, including Best Paper Awards at Ubicomp 2014 and ICWSM 2015, as well as an Honorable Mention at ICWSM 2013. He has conducted postdoctoral research at MIT's Department of Urban Studies and Planning and held research positions at Yahoo Labs and the University of Cambridge.
