Angelika Strohmayer

Dr. Angelika Strohmayer is an interdisciplinary technology researcher who currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Design, Northumbria University, and co-leads the Feminist Design Research Group. Her work focuses on advancing social justice through digital technologies and collaborates closely with third-sector organizations to integrate technology design with the needs of marginalized groups such as sex workers and people experiencing homelessness. Her research areas include Human-Computer Interaction, Feminist Design, and Social Justice Technology. Dr. Strohmayer has contributed to numerous international conferences and journals, exploring initiatives that combine traditional crafts with digital technologies to promote social justice.
