Ulrich Schwanecke

Ulrich Schwanecke, born in 1968 in Wiesbaden, Germany, is a renowned computer scientist and professor. He currently serves as a professor of Computer Vision and Mixed Reality at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. He studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and obtained his PhD in Mathematics from Technische Universität Darmstadt. Recognized internationally as an expert in the fields of Machine Vision and Computer Graphics, he has authored over 80 peer-reviewed scientific papers and holds multiple patents in the domains of user interfaces and optical tracking. In 2017, Ulrich was awarded the Hessian Research Award for Universities of Applied Sciences and is a founding member of the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence, established in 2020.
