Paweł W. Woźniak

Paweł W. Woźniak is a scholar specializing in the field of Human-Computer Interaction. He is currently a professor and head of the Human-Computer Interaction Research Unit at the Vienna University of Technology. His research focuses on advancing health and sports technologies, mobile interface interaction, and exploring the relationship between humans and technology. He graduated from the Technical University of Łódź in Poland and completed his PhD in 2016 at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. His PhD research was titled "Beyond Tools: Reflections on Technology-Driven and User-Driven Research." He has held postdoc and assistant professor positions at the University of Stuttgart in Germany and Utrecht University in the Netherlands. In 2021, he returned to Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg as an associate professor. Starting in April 2024, he will officially take up the position of professor of Human-Computer Interaction at the Vienna University of Technology. He is highly regarded in the academic world and has published extensively on topics related to Human-Computer Interaction, user experience design, and technology support research.
