Ting-Hao (Kenneth) Huang

Ting-Hao 'Kenneth' Huang is an Associate Professor in the College of Information Sciences and Technology at Pennsylvania State University and the director of the Crowd-AI Lab. His research focuses on human-computer interaction, natural language processing, and crowdsourcing, with specific interests in collective intelligence systems, sentiment analysis, and the societal applications of artificial intelligence. He earned his Ph.D. in Language Technologies at Carnegie Mellon University, where he led the development of several notable datasets such as FinQA and EmotionLines. His work has been published at top-tier conferences including CHI, EMNLP, and AAAI, covering interdisciplinary applications such as visual storytelling, dialog systems, and environmental monitoring. He is dedicated to solving real-world societal problems through technological innovation.
